In order to increase your own safety during free rides, it is compulsory to take part in a course dealing with the safety and movement on the race track.

In order to increase your own safety during free rides, it is compulsory to take part on a briefing dealing with the safety and movement on the race track. This obligation is valid for rides for the public on own cars and motorbikes as well as for drives on rental cars.

A drive on the race track differs from driving in normal traffic. There are rules which are valid for a race track and which are not common for you. The objective of such a briefing is to introduce you all of these rules. You can take part in the course before the free rides.

The briefing begins at 17:00, before beginning of the public rides in the area of Slovakia Ring and lasts 30 minutes.

Slovakia Ring reserves the right to change the dates of the briefings.

Price of the course: 20 € incl. VAT

The briefing has to be attended only once, you will receive a card entitling you to a ride on the track and it will be valid for all future rides, after the briefing.

Why should I take part in the course?
Because a ride on the track differs from rides in common traffic. There are different rules valid for the race track and these rules are not common. The objective of the training is to introduce the flag system, the race track with its curves and with the special cars that we are offering for rental.

Do I have to apply in advance for the course?
Yes, it is necessary to call +421 917 544 227 and register for the course.

What will I learn during the course?
The safety rules which have to be adhered to during a ride on the track, the flag system used on the track, the role of the track commissioners, how to behave in different situations which can occur during a ride as well as basic control of your car in order to make  best use of the whole race track.

Does my co-passenger have to take part on the briefing?
Unless the passenger will not decide to drive the car later on, he does not have to take part in the training. However, it is necessary that the passenger signs the Declaration of the passenger which will be filled-in in the Agency room – the registration room and he also needs to have a helmet and fastened the seat belt during the drive. A co-passenger is allowed only for drives on cars, it is forbidden to have passengers during rides on motorbikes.
